“ This is located in a plaza that can be kind of to find parking, but parking today (Sunday) is pretty easy. This location is clean and modern, and the service is great. As someone who loves Hong Kong milk tea, this place is honestly one of the closest one to the ones in HK. They also do free refills. Amazing. I got here at 11:23. Just in time to make it for their last call for breakfast, which ends at 11:30am, so definitely come before then if you want breakfast. I love their combos because they're all the classic Hong Kong breakfast. ”

“ We came here on President's Day Monday for a quick lunch around 11:35 am, and there were people waiting outside of the restaurant already! We had 6 people, and the wait time wasn't so bad, it was about 10-15 mins wait. Service was not so bad considering it's a Chinese cafe. Servers were quick and efficient at taking our orders and delivering our food. I'm originally from Hong Kong, and the food here reminds me of my hometown so much! We ordered their Singapore style fried noodles, crispy chicken wings, west lake soup, and a few kids meal for my little ones. They all tasted great! And I didn't feel sleepy or drowsy afterwards that means they didn't put much msg in their food. The only bad thing is parking can be a bit hectic there since it's located in a busy plaza with markets and other restaurants. Anyways, I can't wait to be back to try their other popular dishes! ”

“ I love these local Chinese/Hong Kong style. It feels very homey to me and the food is always at a great price and delicious. There was a good number of guest , despite it being a work day in the afternoon after lunch. We were seated instantly, and by the time it was time to leave there were people waiting to be seated. We got their noodle soup with minced pork with the fried noodles combo and their steak and egg with some corn. The corn was delicious. It tasted very buttery and sweet with a little bit of garlic. Delicious. I also loved the minced pork noodle soup. It was very cozy and comfy. The steak was OK. But I think the best item is the stir fry noodles. Every combo also comes with a hot drink or a cold drink. Cold drinks come with an extra charge, though. The portions are very big, very filling. TLDR - small Asian style diner with affordable combo options and delicious food ”

“ I visited this restaurant a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the food, though the service wasn't the best. Recently, while I was feeling under the weather and in the area for an acupuncture session, I decided to grab some quick takeout here. One great feature is their online ordering app, which includes photos of the dishes--so you have a clear idea of what you're getting. The app currently only supports this location and Rosemead location, but my food is usually ready by the time I arrive, and they package it well. However, there was one occasion when I had to wait a few minutes at the counter before anyone noticed me and asked what I needed. The food itself is always delicious, and I especially love their porridge. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about their Hainan chicken rice. As for parking, the lot is typically busy, but I've never had any trouble finding a spot. ”

Ordered the wonton soup, cod with egg, minced pork with egg/rice and the honey walnut shrimp. All are so tasty! Plenty of parking in the shared lot, and the restaurant is very spacious. Service was quick. ”

Here's my breakdown: * Pork and Preserved Egg Congee: Absolutely delicious! The flavor was spot on, and the portion was huge--definitely a highlight of the meal. * New York Steak with Eggs & Tater Tots: The steak was just okay, slightly on the salty side, but the tater tots were crispy and enjoyable. * Hong Kong-Style Bun: Soft, warm, and buttery--a simple but comforting dish. * Ham and Egg Sandwich & Chow Mein: Solid choices for a casual meal, though nothing extraordinary. * Iced Coffee & Tea: Decent, but were a bit too sweet for my taste. “ Solid dfc. All kinds of stuff is pricey nowadays but I think they give fair portion. Ordered 3 dishes and enough for 3 or maybe 4 if you have smaller eaters. We got takeaway since we have a dog and they don't have outdoor seating. None of restaurants in this plaza do, such a shame cuz they're near a park and hiking trail that gets super busy on weekends. We ate in the car, it was fine. ”
